These are some bottles painted using acrylic colours.
It hardly took approximately 2 hours to complete one bottle. Glass bottles were soaked in lukewarm water
for 10-15min so that it becomes easy to peel off the label neatly. These bottles were used to decorate my home
and gift to my friends. More decorated bottles would be uploaded soon. #workgoingon...😅

silk thread bangles
These are some accessories made using silk thread. I
learned this work from my mother. It is made by winding silk thread on bangles,
hairbands, etc. in various designs matching various dress colour and designs. It takes 20-30mins to finish a set of bangles.
We can make earrings, bracelets, bangles, necklace and hairbands and further
decorated with stones, beads, mirrors etc. It is a good way of recycling old
plastic bangles, hairbands, etc. More posts of such work would be uploaded soon...

pencil colouring - tribal woman
This pencil colour painting was adopted from the dot
art I saw on Internet. It depicts the life of tribal women. The various
contrasting colours and simple designs of clothes and ornaments against her
dark skin in a sunny background show how they keep themselves happy in spite of
their poverty. Black pen was used instead of black pencil colour to give it a
perfect look.

pen art goddess
This art was created using black ballpoint pen. It
took a lot of time to complete because of the small circles, which is for
highlighting the beauty of her ornaments. The design has been adopted from an
old mural painting from Kerala. The
original work used various plant based colour dyes, mainly red and orange
shades. However, I used only a black pen to complete this picture.
