The word mandala comes from sanskrit language which literally means "circle" it is a geometric configuration of symbols in various spiritual tradition. The key is to take it slowly, drawing one shape at a time and going around the whole circle drawing that one shape in the right place. I will upload a step by step picture of how mandala is done soon...
